Gubavica Waterfall — Hidden Gem Near Makarska Riviera, Croatia

🌊 Velika Gubavica and Mala Gubavica are two stunning waterfalls on the river Cetina, located less than 20 meters apart. Velika Gubavica drops an impressive 49 meters, while Mala Gubavica stands at 7 meters high. Nestled near the village of Zadvarje, this hidden gem offers a natural oasis where the calm stream meets the dramatic falls.

Just a few meters from the waterfall, you'll find a peaceful spot where the Cetina River is perfect for swimming — with an incredible close-up view of the cascading water! The viewpoint above the waterfall can be tricky to find, so bring a good pair of binoculars and a telephoto lens if you want the best views.
