Blaca Monastery on Brač Island — Croatia's Most Hidden Gem

Blaca Monastery is one of the most hidden places in all of Croatia 🏔️

Located on the island of Brač deep in the mountains, this place is pretty hard to get to. You can reach the Monastery either by boat or by car — but either way involves hiking, so wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water with you. The hike should only be attempted by those who are fit and without small children. We recommend taking the excursion from Bol town and do not rely on Google for directions as you may get lost on the narrow gravel roads of the island. Don't forget to check the working hours and prices for the museum!
